Occupational Health & Safety Courses in Canada

What institutions offer occupational health and safety (OH&S) courses in Canada? The following information has been taken from information collected from CCOHS; The Alberta Local Section makes no claim regarding how up to date the information is and would welcome updates.

The following table summarizes what OH&S degree, diploma, and certificate programs are offered in colleges and universities across Canada (listed from west to east). Since there may be other institutions offering similar courses that are not listed below, you should contact your local colleges and universities to find out if they offer a program that will meet your needs.

Other programs like labour and workplace studies or engineering programs may have occupational health and safety components but do not provide an OH&S certificate. These programs and others that provide specialized courses like human factors, ergonomics, occupational health nursing or occupational medicine are not included in this list.
